Empowering Women in Dehmi Kalan Village: A Tale of Transformation

Project 1: Rakhi Making Project
The Rakhi Making Project stands as a testament to the strength and creativity of the women of India. Through dedicated efforts, these women have not only crafted beautiful Rakhis but also woven a tapestry of empowerment and independence. These Rakhis symbolize more than just artistic expression; they represent stories of empowerment, financial independence, and the triumph of collaboration.
Project 2: Plantation Project
In collaboration with the women of Dehmi Kalan Village, we implemented a plantation project at the local government school. This initiative not only transformed the school grounds into a lush green space but also served as an educational tool for the students. Through their collective efforts, these women showcased their commitment to environmental stewardship and community well-being.
Project 3: Skill Development Courses
The Skill Development Courses for women of Dehmi Kalan Village mark a pivotal moment in their journey towards empowerment. In collaboration with Laghu Udyog Bharti, we provided comprehensive courses in mehendi, stitching, and beauty parlour for a duration of two months. Despite initial challenges, 16 women showed interest and dedication towards these courses. Through hand-holding support, we ensured their participation by covering transportation expenses and providing necessary accessories.
Empowerment Through Skills These skill development courses have empowered women with valuable skills, opening doors to economic independence and self-reliance. Breaking free from traditional roles, these women are now entering the workforce with newfound confidence and expertise. Their resilience sends a powerful message – women are not just passive beneficiaries of progress but active agents in shaping their destinies.
